Heather D'Angelo Hi, Tumbleweeds. My name is Heather and I'm 20 years old. I live in New Jersey and go to college 2 blocks away from my house. I work at Victoria's Secret and Bebe at the local mall. I have a boyfriend. His name is Doug. I love music and spend many hours a day Googling Cristiano Ronaldo. Ask me to write a blog about you and I will. Bye

Due to high sulfur levels, inhabitants of the Izu Islands had to wear gas masks to survive. What results? Some of the scariest wedding photos ever.

There are 7 volcanic Izu Islands stretching from the Izu Peninsula of Honshū, Japan. Some are inhabited and some are not. The most recent volcanic eruption occurred on Miyake-Shima island from April to July, 2010. This and all volcanic eruptions release gases like water vapor, carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide. Breathing sulfur dioxide causes burning of the nose and throat, as well as severe airway obstruction. Long-term exposure causes destruction of areas of the lungs.
